Founder and Creator
Our founder, Mr. John Page Sr., grew up in Oakland, California, and distinguished himself in a twenty-year career as Registered Environmental Health Inspector, during which time he was responsible for guaranteeing food safety and enforcing the California Code of Regulations.
As such, he has deep knowledge of the Bay Area restaurant scene, making him highly qualified to launch this music lounge. He has also served as a Vector Control Officer for Alameda County and a Pharmacy Technician at Alta Bates Hospital.
He earned a BS Degree in Conservation and Natural Resources from UC Berkeley and an AA and AS Degrees from Laney College. He is active in the Oakland and Bay Area community, serving as a tutor at Laney College for the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) and as the founder of a minority educational program for college and high school students.

Meet Gary Feemster, the Event Managing Director at JP's Music Lounge, bringing over two decades of entertainment industry experience to the table. With a background from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and further training at institutions like the University of Southern California, Gary is well-versed in television, film, concert, and other stage productions.
His impressive career includes managing events at New York City's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and collaborating with Grammy and Emmy Award winners on major stage plays, award shows, and concert tours. With a portfolio spanning over 100 productions, Gary's expertise lies in turning ideas into memorable experiences.
At JP's Music Lounge, Gary is focused on helping to create a welcoming environment for the mature music lover catering primarily to the 50 and older crowd. With his passion for entertainment and knack for organization, Gary is dedicated to making JP's Music Lounge a premier destination for those seeking a nostalgic, fun-filled time while in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
